OPEKO nursery pots

Nursery pots made by OPEKO are dedicated to the specific plants, therefore they differ in shape, height, capacity and type of bottom. This allows to select the perfect container that will meet the breeding requirements of the plants. Some nursery pots have large drainage holes and additional side holes, label slots or stronger walls. All this so that the seedings can develop healthily and freely.

Nursery pots – the answer to the special requirements of seedings

Pots for blueberries cultivation have a special perforated bottom that allows for free flow of water and air. Additionally, the reinforced structure provides stability for young seedings, and the raised bottom protects blueberry root system from freezing.

Pots for conifers cultivation have openwork walls that allow for optimal aeration of the roots of shrubs and coniferous trees. The drainage system removes excess water from the pot, which helps keep the roots in good condition. Accumulating water can lead to mould growth, fungi and other harmful microorganisms that can cause root rot. Constant air flow allows the root system of conifers to develop healthily and quickly.

Nursery pots made of recycled plastic

We produce our nursery pots ecologically from polypropylene. We obtain this extremely durable plastic entirely through recycling. It is waterproof and resistant to various types of mechanical damage, cracks and deformations. It is also perfect for outdoor crops because it is not affected by solar radiation or low temperatures.
